Funding shortfall cuts World Food Programme food aid in Gaza and West Bank
Funding shortfalls led the World Food Programme (WFP) to reduce food assistance in Gaza and the West Bank. In Gaza, monthly reach fell from 1.6 million to 1.1 million people and daily hot meals from 250,000 to 150,000. The number receiving WFP assistance in the West Bank fell from 400,000 to 200,000 in September.
