Our purpose
We explain what happened, what is known and why it matters. We distinguish established facts, attributed statements and uncertainties. Relevance is not the same as noise, and speed does not justify presenting speculation as fact.

Our editions
This is the Ireland edition, published in English for local readers. Its news selection uses its own media catalogue and geographic context. Other editions share the platform, not an interchangeable national news agenda.
Who publishes us
Mérito is published by DealShopping LLC. Our publisher’s identification and address appear below. The collective newsroom byline describes a publication process, not a named individual journalist.
Technology and responsibility
Artificial intelligence assists research, writing and review. Automated checks and independent review steps support publication decisions, but do not guarantee that errors are impossible. Readers can request a correction through our contact form.
Editorial independence
We assess evidence rather than treating the prestige of an institution, company or political movement as proof. Advertising, sponsorship and press releases must be distinguished from independently corroborated reporting.
